Post Street Summertime Blues

Café seating, wine by the glass, local microbrews and some of the Bay Area's best blues artists converge for three relaxing after-work events from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on historic Post Street (between First and Market Streets). Precedes Starlight Cinemas free screenings on Third Wednesdays of each summer month - June 17, July 15 and August 19.

Wednesday, June 17 - Lara Price with Mighty Mike Schermer
An All-American singer with a sultry stage presence and a voice that is equal parts smoky, sexy, and powerful - transcending the blues into music that is unequivocally superb. Plus the Bay Area's premier Blues/R&B guitarist Mighty Mike Schermer.    
  

Wednesday, July 15 - René Solis
A soulful and hard-hitting combination - Solis' smooth and seamless guitar grooves and vocals, mix with a powerhouse group of Bay Area musicians, to deliver upbeat, house-rocking music that melds blues, R&B, rock, and soul.
 

Wednesday August 19 - Jimmy Dewrance Blues
West Coast Blues with a shot of funk and a little rock chaser - renowned blues harmonica player/vocalist Jimmy D backed by a rhythm and guitar section with a fat shuffle backbeat.
