Bill Wilson Center Skate for Youth Jan. 9
From Noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, mention Bill Wilson Center and $5 from your admission will go toward Bill Wilson Center services for youth in our community.
Additional donations at any level are greatly appreciated. Your contributions make a huge difference in the lives of thousands of youth in our community.
$100 in contributions provide Bill Wilson Center youth services like these:
• Three square meals for one youth in our shelter for one month
• 40 hours of employment and financial readiness training for one youth
• Cover the expense of family counseling for one youth
Special guest appearances include:
The California Ice Theater ice skating group performance at noon. Followed by open skate with San Francisco 49ers Mascot Sourdough Sam – and a few other surprises.
Plus raffle tickets for purchase. Giveaways include: SJ Sharks memorabilia, Camera Cinema passes, Downtown Ice Family 4-packs and more.
About the beneficiary: Donations benefit Bill Wilson Center established in 1973 and named for one of the founders of the organization, a past mayor of the city of Santa Clara. Bill Wilson Center’s mission is to support and strengthen the community by serving youth and families through counseling, housing, education and advocacy. Bill Wilson Center serves over 10,000 clients in Santa Clara County annually, and is committed to working with the community to ensure that every youth has access to the range of services needed to grow to be healthy and self-sufficient adults.

First Downtown Ice Claus Crawl

Benefitting the Second Harvest Food Bank
Help us reach our goal of 92 Santas skating
as in Channel 92.3
Join us for a pre-crawl SKATING SANTAS SPECTACULAR 5 - 6pm:
Sport your most unique Santa costume and get to Downtown Ice. Free admission to those in Santa costumes* who bring a can of food for the Second Harvest Food Bank Drive or a cash donation to the Downtown Ice KidSkate program. Arrive by 5:40pm to participate in free Skating Santas Spectacular. Prizes awarded for Santa costumes in the following categories: most unique, most authentic, most San Jose-centric and biggest crowd pleaser.
*Note – Santa costume must consist of a Santa hat, beard and red clothing, the more red/holiday the better.
Downtown Ice is located at Circle of Palms Plaza – 120 S. Market St.
Join us immediately after skating, for the CLAUS CRAWL:
Enjoy unique downtown restaurants and bars offering drink specials and prizes to those adorned in Santa costumes. Designated Reindeer drinks (non-alcoholic) will be free all night for those wearing reindeer antlers. The crawl starts at the Fairmont Hotel, next door to the ice rink, then moves onto multiple downtown restaurants and bars until 10pm.

4:30 – 5:30pm (non-skaters) Billy Berk’s (99 S. First Street at corner of W. San Fernando St.)
5 - 6pm Downtown Ice rink - Skating Santa Spectacular
6 - 7pm The Fairmont Hotel Lounge (170 S. Market St./ next door to Downtown Ice)
7 - 8pm The Temple Bar & Lounge (52 S. First St.) AND Maceio Brazilian Steakhouse (72 S. First St.)
8 - 9pm Mezcal Restaurant (25 W. San Fernando/ between Market and First St.)
9 - 10pm Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge (99 E. San Fernando St.)
