Farmer's Market
Treat yourself to summer's freshest produce at the Downtown Farmer's Market
The cozy outdoor market takes place each Friday, May 2-Dec. 12, 2008, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. along a charming block of San Pedro Street between Santa Clara and St. John streets.
It is definitely the best place to see and be seen. About 2,000 people visit the market each week. Browse through colorful flowers, gourmet foods and fresh fruits and vegetables from California-certified growers. Special fruit tastings and live music are offered throughout the season.
Parking: Get validated parking from the information table, directly across from the Market Street-San Pedro Garage.

- Explore downtown - Stop by the info table to find out where else to go. You may also find an Ambassador who can give you more information and dir4ections to downtown's numerous attractions.
Featured farmers: Hamlow Farms provides fresh peaches and nectarines. Ripen them up by putting them in brown paper bags. Also, Borello Farms of Morgan Hill will have locally grown cherries for sale.
Featured produce: Fresh ripe cherries are at their peak and don't forget to pick up blueberries, they have a short season so get them while you can.
Featured food: Did you know you can enjoy cooked seafood at the Farmer's Market? Enjoy fresh seafood cooked to order and then purchase some to take home and cook for yourself.
