Metro Music in the Other Park
Metro Music in the Other Park has finished its 11th season. Groundation attracted about 6,000 fans. And Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks and Ben Lee and Augustana attracted thousands more fans in subsequent weeks. Midnight Star brought more than 6,000 people to the park -- check out photos from the concert at the bottom of this page. Thanks to all these great performers.

St. James Park
at First and St. James streets
These concerts, produced by the San Jose Downtown Association, are always absolutely free.
Food and beverages are available at the park. Be sure to visit the Lounge in the Park, which is open to the public, and enjoy sangria, beer and wine.
Parking: In 2009, $3 parking after 6 p.m. in the garages at Third Street near Santa Clara Street and at Market and San Pedro streets. Public lots near the park also offer affordable parking after 6 p.m.

Park rules: No cans, bottles or pets. Also, no smoking in the park. No alcohol in or out of the park. But food and drink are available for sale in the park!Also, for everyone's safety, bags and baggy pants will be checked.
Small coolers with food are OK, but we prefer you buy at the park. After all, the concert is free.
Please do not bring alcohol into the park. And do not buy beer or wine for minors.
