Downtown is ripe for exploration.  Museums, the library, a major public university, parks and more are all within walking distance of wherever you're staying.   Come explore the Children's Discovery Museum, The Tech Museum of Innovation, the San Jose Museum of Art and the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles.  Spend time on the history walk.  Hop from gallery to gallery.  Stroll the San Jose State University campus and extraordinary Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library.  Take breaks from all this exploration to sit out on a patio and watch the world go by you, have a bite to eat and catch your breath.  Save time in the evening for a movie, concert or stage performance, and maybe a drink, dessert or dancing late into the night and even the next morning.
